Almost every website is the same deal now: a monthly or yearly bill for a site you barely edit and will never own. Most owners don't notice what it adds up to until they're looking at a year of finances, wondering why that line is so high. Here are the problems you've probably run into.
The bill never stops.
Platform, plan, add-ons, a template license. It renews whether the site earns you anything or not.
Is the forever fee worth it?
Some changes you could make in a minute. Others need somebody who knows the builder. Either way the bill arrives next month exactly the same, whether you touched the site or not.
You don't own what you paid for.
Cancel and it goes dark. The design doesn't come with you.
None of that is a bad decision on your part — it's how the builder platforms are designed to work. What we offer is the alternative: you own the site, and editing it costs you nothing.
The editor is yours to use.
Once your site is built and live, you jump in and change it whenever you like — no ticket, no plan, no extra cost. This is that editor, running right here on the page. Change the words, restyle them, swap the pictures, recolour a map. Have a go: nothing here is saved, so reload and it comes back exactly as it was.

Ten years of rigging and animation production, dropped straight into a web page. If you can picture something moving on your site, we can most likely build it. These are real Spine skeletons running in your browser at sixty frames a second — not video, not GIFs. Try them, then picture one on your own site.

The same rig runs on our portfolio, where he steals from the real page. Crate, rock, clay pot or the panel edge — which one he picks is random, and so is when he moves.

Every stroke is a separate clip that has to finish before the next one starts — interrupt one and he lets go of the rope with both hands. That rule is most of the work in a traversal rig. He also changes kit whenever he goes over the top: three costumes on one skeleton, redrawn out of sight.

Questions we get asked a lot.
Do I have to pay a monthly fee to keep my site online?
No. That’s the entire point. Your site is hosted on infrastructure that’s free at your traffic level, and you own the code. The only ongoing cost is your domain name — roughly $10 to $20 a year, paid to the registrar, not to us.
Who owns the site when it’s finished?
You do. On final payment the design, the code, the content, the domain and the accounts are yours. Nothing we build needs a subscription to us to stay online, and nothing stops working if you never speak to us again.
Can I really edit it myself?
Yes. You get a login to an admin panel where you click the text on the page and type over it, drag and drop images, and reorder sections. If you can use email, you can use it. We walk you through it on a call before handover.
Do you use AI to build this?
Yes, and we’re upfront about it. We scope it, architect it, debug it, test it and ship it. AI is how we move fast; the judgment and the accountability are ours. Everything is reviewed and shipped by the person who built it.
Will my email break?
No, and this is the part most people get wrong. Email records are separate from website records. We map your mail setup before touching anything, carry the records across, and verify delivery afterward. We also add SPF and DMARC, which most small business domains are missing entirely.
